PUD's

Greetings

The title sez it all.

If you don't know what a PUD is, I'll explain. It's a custom scenario file for Warcraft II.

If u still have no idea what I'm talking about, then SHOO! Go way! uncultured brute....

Most of the PUD's I've made so far, aren't with me any longer. Had a recent harddrive crash. Course I never backed up...so, if any of them still exist, they'll be on my friends' harddisks. Which means I'll have to buy them back from them (that's what friends are for, eh?).

Anyway, the lone PUD I have to offer right now is called "Come to Me". I originally made it because I wanted to see if strategic emplacement type thingies really worked.

Here's the map.

The Green Player (human), has all the units and buildings, huge numbers of peons, and lot's of gold+wood to harvest. S/He also has a city built for defence - multiple layers of walls, rocks and towers, ballistas packed behind walls, units in nice formations, farms in the mountains, a nice armada...in short, a nation ready for a seige (how do u spell that?). The Orcs to the north, are that Burning Blade Clan. Totally disorganized. More troops than the humans, and just as much in the way of resources, but the troops are crowded together between the rocks and the forest, the peons (and everyone else) are scattered around, the buildings are strong, but badly organized. The tower coverage is great on both sides.

I named this "Come to me", since my plan was to take the humans, and just sit tight. Wait for the Orc to attack. Sadly, they didn't. I can't figure out why - they were set to land attack. Anyway, this will probably be a lot better in multiplayer mode.

One problem: This scenario has so many units, that you reach the map limit. After a bit, you have to start killing off you're excess peasants if you want to train more. And it's still too tight.

You're the leader of a new human camp, you're being punished for cowardice, and this is the punishment mission. You have to clear the forest of a bunch of very strong skeletons, then wipe out an orkish encapmment. All with a lazy, weak bunch of chickens.

One of my best :)

That's it for now.
